What conditions do you treat with physiotherapy?
We help with a wide range of conditions, including back pain, neck pain, sports injuries, arthritis, post-surgery recovery, and muscle tension. Whether you need pain relief, rehabilitation, or injury prevention, our expert physiotherapists create personalised treatment plans to get you moving pain-free.
Do I need a referral to see a physiotherapist?
No, you don’t need a referral! You can book a physiotherapy session directly with us. However, if you claim through insurance, check if your provider requires a GP referral.
What happens during my first physiotherapy session?
Your first session includes a full assessment of your condition, movement analysis and treatment. We’ll discuss your symptoms, medical history, and treatment goals before creating a tailored plan to help you recover faster.
How many physiotherapy sessions will I need?
It depends on your condition and goals. Some people feel better after just a few sessions, while others need ongoing support for long-term recovery. We’ll review your progress regularly to ensure you get the best results.
What’s the difference between sports massage and deep tissue massage?
Sports massage focuses on injury prevention and recovery, targeting muscles used in physical activity. Deep tissue massage works on chronic tension and pain, using firm pressure to release tight muscles and knots. Both are excellent for pain relief and reducing muscle tension. We combine both techniques in outer sessions and use trigger point and myofascial release.
How often should I get a massage?
It depends on your needs! A monthly massage works well for general wellbeing. If you have chronic pain or train regularly, you may benefit from weekly or bi-weekly sessions. We’ll help you find the best schedule for your body.
Will physiotherapy or massage therapy be painful?
Some treatments may feel slightly uncomfortable, especially if we’re working on a tight or injured area. However, we always adjust the pressure to your comfort level and ensure that your treatment is effective without being too painful.
What should I wear to my appointment?
For physiotherapy, wear comfortable clothing that allows movement, like gym or loose-fitting clothes. If we need to assess a specific area, we may ask you to remove layers, but we always respect your privacy.
